{"id":1670,"date":"2023-06-09T15:28:17","date_gmt":"2023-06-09T18:28:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bfvpp.com\/?page_id=1670"},"modified":"2023-12-18T14:08:52","modified_gmt":"2023-12-18T17:08:52","slug":"news","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bfvpp.com\/en\/news\/","title":{"rendered":"News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Associa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><strong> Cultural <\/strong><strong>Videobrasil<\/strong>, a partner of the <strong>Brazilian Film &amp; Video Preservation Project, <\/strong>is promoting the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>22nd edition of<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Bienal<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Sesc_Videobrasil<\/strong><strong> | Especial 40 <\/strong><strong>Anos<\/strong>, entitled A Mem\u00f3ria \u00e9 uma\u00a0Ilha de Edi\u00e7\u00e3o (<em>Memory is an Editing Station<\/em>), which will include an exhibition and a series of public events dedicated to works from the Global South, and will take place from October 18, 2023 to April 28, 2024, at <strong>Sesc<\/strong><strong> 24 de <\/strong><strong>Maio<\/strong>, in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>BFVPP<\/strong> was invited to participate in the parallel exhibition &#8220;Videobrasil | Especial\u00a040\u00a0anos: o arquivo\u00a0em performance&#8221; &#8211; a retrospective exhibit of the trajectory of\u00a0<strong>Videobrasil<\/strong> &#8211; with the screening of videos by artist Anna Bella Geiger, restored as part of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian Film &amp; Video Preservation Project &#8211; Anna Bella Geiger event will take place on October 20, as part of the Acervo\u00a0Comentado cycle.
