He started his philanthropic work in Israel prior to statehood, and in 1972 he decided to concentrate his efforts on establishing the <strong>Jerusalem Film Centre<\/strong>. The organization, which includes a cinematheque and archive, was also equipped with operating, programming and preservation resources.<br \/>\nIn 1987, this donor entity became the <strong>Ostrovsky Family Fund (OFF)<\/strong> and shifted its mission to a broader one of encouraging progressive art initiatives around the world.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ostrovsky-family-fund.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OFF website<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Pr\u00eamio OFF<\/h3>\n<p><strong>20\u00ba Festival de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea Sesc_Videobrasil 2017 (20th Sesc_Videobrasil Contemporary Art Festival 2017)<\/strong> and <strong>Pr\u00eamio OFF \u2014 21\u00aa Bienal de Arte 2019 (OFF Award &#8211; 21st Art Biennial 2019)<\/strong>. A pioneering advocate for media art and artists, <strong>EAI<\/strong>&#8216;s primary goal is to distribute and preserve a large collection of more than 4,000 historic and previously unpublished video artworks. For 50 years, <strong>EAI<\/strong> has fostered the creation, exhibition, distribution and preservation of video art and, more recently, digital art projects.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eai.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EAI website<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural Videobrasil<\/h4>\n<p>Founded by Solange O. Farkas in 1991, <strong>Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural Videobrasil<\/strong> results from a wish to institutionally house a growing collection of works and publications, a collection that started with the first edition of the Festival de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea Sesc_Videobrasil (Sesc_Videobrasil Contemporary Art Festival), in 1983.
