0º - 45º (1974)

This video extends the proposal seen in the first phase of the choreographer’s trajectory – started with M3x3 – by representing the automation of gestures, the mechanical relationships between people, the prioritization of media over personal expression and the artificiality of the representation of colors in black and white television. In 0º – 45º, the body is seen in parts, in close-up, showing a fragmentation of its image. It is composed as a whole only in the spectator’s mind.
