Campo (1976)
Edition: 3/6
video, 2’25”, B&W, sound

A simple action, captured with a single unedited take, of a gesture of continuously tracing with the tip of a finger the limits and the imaginary lines – meridian and diagonal – implied in the dimensionality of the video monitor itself. Campo, the first video made by the artist, is part of the group of initial incursions into video art made at MAC USP between 1976 and 1978.
